Introduction

These Golden Coconut Chai Lattes are like a long, warm, hug in a mug.

Rich and creamy with a decadent spicy flavour, they are soothing for both your gut and your soul.

The recipe

Ingredients

1 cup of milk of choice, I like to use coconut.
1 tablespoon of Supercharged Food Golden Gut blend.
1 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger.
¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
¼ teaspoon of cardamom
1 star anise
Rice malt syrup or stevia, to taste

Directions

Step 1
Place all ingredients into a small saucepan.
Step 2
Heat gently over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling.
Step 3
Let it heat slowly and gently as this is what infuses the flavours into the milk.
Step 4
Whisk briskly until frothy and then pour into mug to drink.
Step 5
You can strain the spices out, if you prefer.
