Introduction

After listening to my son sing the praises of his airfryer, I finally caved in and got one

And I confess, he’s right. They are pretty handy

Mostly for throwing stuff like this together at a moments notice

With two hungry tradies to feed, it can be tricky to come up with lunch ideas that aren’t the same old boring sandwiches or pies

These wing nibbles are a great alternative

They’re super easy to make, crazy delicious, highly adaptable and can be batch cooked to make a week of lunches

Airfryer for the win, I say

The recipe

Ingredients

1 kg of chicken wing nibbles
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
2 teaspoons of onion powder
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
2 teaspoons of ginger paste
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of coconut aminos (or tamari)
1/4 teaspoon of liquid smoke (optional, but really good)

Directions

Step 1
Place all of the ingredients into a large bowl or zip-lock bag and thoroughly combine.
Step 2
Marinate in the fridge for as long as you can, minimum 1 hour.
Step 3
Preheat the airfryer to 200° C
Step 4
Preheat the airfryer to 200° C Tip the chicken into the basket and cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket a couple of times during cooking.
Step 5
I like to serve mine dunked into my Creamy Herb Dressing.
