Sometimes you just don’t want to eat
And sometimes you want a tall glass of frosty, sweet, chocolate goodness
This is what you want for those times
It is the latest in a long line of recipes that I have dubbed magic, but this one is truly worthy of the title.
Packed full of protein and healthy fats to keep you satisfied for longer, low in carbs, sugar free and so delicious that I fed it to my son without his knowing it was healthy
It can be made nut-free or vegan with simple substitutes
So, you tell me – is it magical?

  • 3/4 cup of coconut milk (or almond/oat/cow)

  • 2 tablespoons of golden erythritol (or your sweetener of choice)

  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon of instant coffee powder

  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (pea protein for vegan)

  • 1 cup of ice

  • This is a tricky and complicated recipe, so pay attention.
  • Place all ingredients, except for ice, into a high speed blender.
  • Blitz until combined.
  • Add the ice and use the smoothie setting to blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a tall glass, drink, sigh a little bit and smile with delight.
