This Borek is a tasty and filling lunch or dinner.

Savoury minced beef is nestled with rich fillings and tangy feta inside a soft dough, baked to perfection, and soaked in tasty juices.

You could easily make this in advance and pop it in the oven when you are ready to cook it.

Surely by now you all know how much I love anything with spinach and feta in it?

Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 100 grams of almond flour

  • 170 grams of mozzarella

  • 30 grams of cream cheese

  • 1 egg

  • Filling:
  • 500 grams of minced beef

  • 250 grams of feta

  • 60 grams /2 cups of baby spinach

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 70 grams /1 cup mushrooms, chopped

  • ½ teaspoon of onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper

  • Ghee

  • 1 additional egg
